Hey Pinot friend,

Before we get to the good stuff, there's, well, some more good stuff..

We are so pleased to share the news with you that Jim has been nominated for the Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine Winemaker of the Year 2019.  He is keeping some excellent company with Sarah Crowe, Sarah Pidgeon and Rob Diletti nominated alongside him. And this issue also has a great article on Tassie Pinot...2017 Isle made the top five!  Can recommend tracking it down for a read if you are yet to see it!

With the 2018 wines soon out for release we hope to have more good media news to share soon but really the big point of this email at this time of year is to get the Pre Release for the 2018 wines rolling.

If you already have a Standing Order with us you have absolutely nothing to do here - but if you are keen to secure this next release then this is your best option to do so.

We release both the Huon Valley and Isle Pinots on August 1 each year. And we are super excited to be soon sending the 2018 out into the world!

2018 was a truly lovely vintage and the wines reflect the wonderful growing season the Huon enjoyed. We believe our best vintage to date.



Aaaand finally, one more little thing... we have a new wine! It's still Pinot and It's still from the Huon Valley - but it is new!

Over the past few years we have been buying fruit from a tiny immaculate vineyard, lovingly grown by Max and Sue Kitchell and including it in the Huon Valley Pinot.

In 2018 we decided to make it as a single site wine and have called it Seven Inch, named after the small beach which sits directly below this vineyard.

(A beach where we have spent many an afternoon swimming and enjoying the beauty of the Huon with our neighbours.)

Though merely a kilometre away from Isle Vineyard, the Seven Inch Pinot is quite different.

The wine is light footed with striking red fruit and wonderful tension and energy. A delicious drink.

There are only 240 six packs available of the 2018 Seven Inch Pinot. Also, it is delicious right now so it is available immediately.
